Asbestos Awareness Training Session

Overview

Many University buildings contain asbestos in different materials used in the buildings original construction. Asbestos presents a significant health hazard if inhaled or ingested. Exposure to Asbestos may create long term health effects. This session describes the health hazards and application of asbestos within the University setting. Hazard identification is also covered.

All employees should be familiar with the hazards of asbestos within their work area.
