Lesson Planning

One of the simplest ways to keep your course on schedule and to be sure you cover everything you need to is to create lesson plans.  These are documents that are written before a class or lecture designed to outline your daily lesson. A lesson plan typically includes your learning objective(s) for the day, the  topics to be covered, a breakdown of the time management and any work or readings to be assigned.  By setting clear objectives for yourself and your students you are better able to ensure you do not run out of time or get behind in your course syllabus.  It can also be useful to have your lesson plan with you in class so you can refer to it throughout the class.
